What goes into the selection process?

Super Lawyers selects attorneys through a process that includes peer nominations, independent research and evaluations. No more than 5% of attorneys in the state are selected to the Super Lawyers list, and no more than 2.5% are selected to Rising Stars.

The Rising Stars selection process also considers how long an attorney has been practicing or their age, recognizing attorneys earlier in their careers.
