We are excited and so pleased to announce that four attorneys at our firm have recently been made Partner. Congratulations to new Partners Erin Brueche, Robyn Howlett, Veronica Norgaard, and Carmela Novi.

Erin Brueche, Esq.
Erin Brueche, Esq. is a certified matrimonial attorney who joined Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC in 2010 and leads the firm’s Bedminster office. Ms. Brueche is an active participant in the legal community and serves on the Early Settlement Panel of the Family Courts of Morris and Warren Counties. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Morris County Bar Association.
Erin Brueche always knew she wanted to practice family law because of its direct connection with helping people and families. As she describes, “I am not representing an abstract corporation. I get to know my clients personally and I become their trusted advisor. That personal touch is what drives me.”
Ms. Brueche has authored multiple legal articles and recently co-presented the legal seminar, “Anatomony of a CIS Statement” with an expert panel including Bari Weinberger, retired Ocean County Superior Court Judge Lawrence Jones, Judge Daniel H. Brown of the Superior Court of Middlesex County and accountant Susan Miano. She has also been named by the American Institute of Legal Counsel as one of the 10 Best Client Satisfaction for Family Law and Top 10 Under 40 in New Jersey.
Ms. Brueche is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and Wake Forest School of Law.
Robyn Howlett, Esq.
Robyn Howlett is a certified matrimonial attorney who leads the firm’s Freehold office. Ms. Howlett joined Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC in 2012.
Ms. Howlett’s best moments as an attorney come from knowing that she helps her clients reach a better place in life. “In some instances I have actually received a ‘thank you’ and a hug from the opposing party because not only did I successfully help my client move forward in a positive direction, but my advocacy ultimately restored a productive co-parenting relationship and therefore the entire family benefited” she describes. Ms. Howlett thrives on the feeling she gets when a client returns to her at the conclusion of their matter or even years later to show gratitude for achieving the original goals they set at the very inception of the matter.
Ms. Howlett is admitted to the New Jersey Bar, the New Jersey District Court Bar and the New York Bar. Her practice has been and remains exclusively concentrated in matrimonial and family law, where she is dedicated to serving the best interests of her clients in all matters. Ms. Howlett is also trained in the alternative dispute resolution method of collaborative divorce. She has been named by the American Institute of Legal Counsel as one of the 10 Best Client Satisfaction for Family Law in New Jersey. Ms. Howlett has authored numerous articles and lectured on various divorce-related topics.
Ms. Howlett is a graduate of Wagner College and received her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School.
Veronica Norgaard, Esq.
Veronica Norgaard is a certified matrimonial attorney who joined Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC in 2013. Ms. Norgaard leads the firm’s Cranford office.
Her compassion, dedication and ability to truly hear her clients allows her to help people through the most difficult times of their lives. “I take pride in the compassion I bring to my clientsmy and my ability to truly listen to their wishes. I believe it is this approach that helps make divorce a less stress process for my clients.,” she describes.
As an in-demand family law trial attorney, Ms. Norgaard has earned a reputation throughout New Jersey for her strategic and effective litigation skills. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Middlesex County Bar Association and Monmouth County Bar Association. Ms. Norgaard is also an Adjunct Professor of Family Law and an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing and Research at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Ms. Norgaard is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Middlesex County Bar Association and Monmouth County Bar Association. She has previously served on the Fee Arbitration Committee and currently sits on the Ethics Committee. In addition, she was previously an Adjunct Professor of Family Law and an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing and Research at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Ms. Norgaard is a graduate of the University of Washington and Syracuse University College of Law.
Carmela Novi, Esq.
Carmela L. Novi is a certified matrimonial attorney who joined Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC in 2012. Ms. Novi heads the firm’s Hackensack office.
Ms. Novi’s passion for family law stems from her deep commitment to serving as her clients’ best advocate and “voice” in trying times. “In family law, even on the most difficult of days, I know that I made a difference in my client’s life,” she describes.
Ms. Novi serves on the Early Settlement Panel for the family court in Morris County and is a qualified and court approved Family Law Mediator. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, and the New Jersey Woman Lawyers Association.
Some of Ms. Novi’s proudest career moments have been helping victims of domestic violence to obtain orders of protection against their abusers. Ms. Novi has been recognized for her extensive pro bono work in this area by Alternatives to Domestic Violence of Bergen County, Partners for Women & Justice in Montclair, and Volunteer Lawyers for Justice.
Ms. Novi is a graduate of New York Law School.
