Raquel Vallejo is a Partner at Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC. She received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Vallejo was chosen to be a member of the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice where she provided legal aid services in the areas of matrimonial and family law to Essex, Morris, and Union County residents. After graduation from law school, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas P. Zampino J.S.C. in the Essex County Family Part. Prior to attending law school Ms. Vallejo, as a Henry Rutgers Scholar, received an undergraduate dual degree with Honors in Political Science and Spanish from Rutgers University.

Ms. Vallejo has experience with all facets of family law litigation, including complex contested issues of custody, parenting time, child support, alimony and equitable distribution of assets. Ms. Vallejo has also served as a volunteer attorney for the Jersey Battered Women’s Shelter through its legal advocacy program, where she represented clients in numerous domestic violence proceedings. She continues to zealously advocate for victims and the wrongfully accused today.

Ms. Vallejo’s practice has been and remains exclusively concentrated in matrimonial and family law, where she is dedicated to serving the best interests of her clients in all matters related to domestic violence, divorce, child custody, child support, alimony and the division of assets.

Ms. Vallejo has been admitted to the New Jersey Bar, the New Jersey District Court Bar, the District of Columbia, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. Not only has Ms. Vallejo been a member of the New Jersey Family Inns of Court, she is presently a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Morris County Bar Association, Union County Bar Association, The Essex County Barry I. Croland Family Law Inns of Court, and the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, on which she serves as a Trustee. She is appointed to the NJSBA Family Law Executive Committee. She is also an experienced panelist for the Morris County Family Court in the Early Settlement program and is a volunteer attorney for the Jersey Battered Women’s Shelter.

Ms. Vallejo has also appeared as an expert on CNN Español and Telemundo.
