Kristy Lipari is an attorney with Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group. Ms. Lipari is a dedicated and compassionate attorney who represents clients in all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including alimony, equitable distribution of assets, child custody, child support and domestic violence. Ms. Lipari is a New Jersey native and has extensive experience handling a variety of complex cases related to divorce and family law, including matters involving international abduction of children as well as grandparents’ rights.
Ms. Lipari takes pride in getting to know her clients in order to tailor her representation to their individualized needs. Ms. Lipari combines her background in psychology with her legal knowledge in order to be a zealous advocate for her clients while simultaneously helping minimize the impact on both them and their children.
Ms. Lipari has achieved great success for her clients in and out of the courtroom. When appropriate, she will take a collaborative approach in the hopes of settling the matter quickly and obtaining an optimal result without protracted litigation. Ms. Lipari’s distinct legal experience along with her highly effective advocacy skills make her especially well-suited to represent clients in all facets of divorce and family law matters.
Ms. Lipari received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. While attending law school, Ms. Lipari participated in the Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition where she placed as a finalist. Ms. Lipari also served as a Judicial Intern in the Family Division for the Honorable Deborah L. Ustas, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen Vicinage.
After receiving her Juris Doctorate, Ms. Lipari served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Family Division for the Honorable Margaret M. Foti, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County Vicinage. Upon completion of her judicial clerkship, Ms. Lipari entered private practice and continues to focus her career on matrimonial and family law matters.
In her free time, Ms. Lipari enjoys practicing yoga, skiing and spending time with her family. Prior to attending law school, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
