Prior to attending law school, Ms. Martin received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science, in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, cum laude, and she received her graduate degree, a Master’s of Science, in Criminology from St. Joseph’s University, summa cum laude. She received her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law in Camden. Following her graduation from Rutgers, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas W. Cavanagh, Jr., J.S.C., in the Monmouth County, Family Part.
Admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the New Jersey District Court Bar, Ms. Martin’s practice has been and remains exclusively concentrated in matrimonial and family law, where she is dedicated to serving the best interests of her clients in all matters related to domestic violence, prenuptial agreements, divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and the division of assets. In addition to her extensive litigation experience, Ms. Martin is a qualified and court approved Family Law Mediator and is also trained in the alternative dispute resolution method of collaborative divorce, which better enables her to avoid litigation through this non-adversarial settlement process.
