Erich  Schneider  is  an  attorney  with  Weinberger  Divorce  &  Family  Law  Group.  Mr. Schneider  graduated  from  Villanova  University  with  a  B.A  and  received  his  Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law. After graduation from law school, Mr. Schneider  gained  valuable  experience  working  for  Hon.  Robert  Feldman,  J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth County, in several capacities.

Mr. Schneider has practiced primarily family law for his entire career. He has experience in  nearly  all  aspects  of  family  law  including  divorce,  custody,  child  support,  alimony, equitable  distribution  of  assets  and  domestic  violence.  Mr.  Schneider  received  the esteemed honor of being designated by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Matrimonial Attorney, a certification achieved by only 2% of attorneys in New Jersey. He is also recognized as a highly qualified and court approved Family Law Mediator helping countless families resolve their most complex issues. Mr. Schneider is often chosen by his  fellow  attorneys  to  act  as  an  Economic  Mediator to  help  resolve  their  disputes amicably, thus avoiding trial. He is also a court-approved mediator and acts as a private mediator  for  parties  who  wish  to  pursue  that  route  without  protracted  and  costly litigation.

Mr. Schneider has been a long time member of the Monmouth County Bar Association. Mr.  Schneider  was  awarded  the Bernard  H.  Hoffman,  Esq.  Award  as Lawyer  of  the Year.   This   award   is   bestowed   on   an   “attorney   member   of   the   Monmouth   Bar Association,  who  has  made  a  substantial  or  procedural  contribution  by  service  to  the administration   of   the   Family   Court   system   to   the   family   law   practice”.   He has volunteered  his  time  as  an  expert  volunteer  panelist  in  the  Early  Settlement  Panel program in Monmouth County and has served as head of the ESP Program he has and still is a member of the Domestic Violence Working Group of Monmouth County.

Additionally,  Mr.  Schneider  served  as  co-chair  of  the  Monmouth County  Family  Law Committee.  Mr.  Schneider  is  a  member  of  the  New  Jersey  State  Bar  Association  and has been a speaker/moderator at County and State legal education seminars.

Mr.  Schneider  has  been  designated  a New  Jersey  Super  Lawyer,  having  previously been  recognized  as  a Rising  Star.  Mr.  Schneider  was  a  recipient  of  the Client Satisfaction Award from the American Institute of Family Legal Counsel.
