Erich Schneider is an attorney with Weinberger Law Group. Mr. Schneider graduated from Villanova University in 1988 with a B.A and received his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in 1991.
Mr. Schneider has practiced primarily family law for his entire career. He has experience in nearly all aspects of family law including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution of assets and domestic violence. Mr. Schneider received the esteemed honor of being designated by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Matrimonial Attorney, a certification achieved by only 2% of attorneys in New Jersey. He is also recognized as a highly qualified, trained Family Law Mediator helping countless families resolve their most complex issues. Mr. Schneider has acted as a court-appointed mediator on numerous occasions. He is often chosen by his fellow attorneys to act as an Economic Mediator helping others resolve their disputes, thus avoiding trial. He also acts as a private mediator for parties who wish to pursue that route without protracted and costly litigation.
Mr. Schneider was honored by the Monmouth Bar Association Family Law Committee on January 16, 2014. On that date, Mr. Schneider received the Bernard H. Hoffman, Esq., Award for service to Family Law in Monmouth County. This award is bestowed on an "attorney member of the Monmouth Bar Association who has made a substantial or procedural contribution by service to the administration of the Family Court system to the family law practice".

Mr. Schneider has been a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association since 1994. Mr. Schneider was awarded the "Bernard H. Hoffman, Esq. Award" as "Lawyer of the Year in 2014". This award is bestowed on an "attorney member of the Monmouth Bar Association, who has made a substantial or procedural contribution by service to the administration of the Family Court system to the family law practice". He has volunteered his time as an expert volunteer panelist in the Early Settlement Panel program in Monmouth County since 1998, served as head of the ESP Program since 2002, and has been a member of the Domestic Violence Working Group of Monmouth County since 2002.
Additionally, in May 2012 Mr. Schneider served as co-chair of the Monmouth
County Family Law Committee. Mr. Schneider is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and has been a speaker / moderator at County and State legal education seminars.
From 2010 through 2016, Mr. Schneider was designated a "New Jersey Super Lawyer", having previously been recognized as a "Rising Star". Mr. Schneider was a recipient of the "2016 Client Satisfaction Award" from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.
