Alison M. Dunn, Esq. is an attorney with Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, who is licensed in both New Jersey and New York, having received her Juris Doctorate from William & Mary School of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Dunn served and as the Articles Editor for the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal as a Graduate Research Fellow in the areas of Family Law and Therapeutic Jurisprudence. She also participated as an advocate for the Domestic Violence Clinic of the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia providing legal services to local residents. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Dunn received a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.
Since her graduation from law school, Ms. Dunn has been solely dedicated to the practice of family and matrimonial law. In addition to representing clients in contested matters, Ms. Dunn is a court approved and qualified Family Law Mediator and provides mediation services to assist parties in reaching a mutual resolution of their family and matrimonial issues. Ms. Dunn is also Collaboratively trained in Family Law to guide clients who prefer to avoid litigation through the non-adversarial collaborative divorce process.
Before entering private practice, Ms. Dunn served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael Paul Wright, Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part in Morris County.
In March 2013 Ms. Dunn was recognized as a "New Jersey Super Lawyers - Rising Star". She was also named to the American Institute of Family Law Attorney's "10 Best – Client Satisfaction" list for 2015 and 2016.
