Jaclyn Kahn is an attorney with Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group. Ms. Kahn graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida Coastal School of Law. During law school, Ms. Kahn was the pro bono chair for the Family Law Society and a staff editor for the Florida Coastal Law Review. The 2015 Winter Edition of the Florida Coastal Law Review’s journal contains Ms. Kahn’s publication. She also earned her Family Law certificate after focusing on classes involving juvenile justice, adoption law, and domestic violence.
Ms. Kahn was appointed as a Congressional Page and worked as Speaker’s Page to J. Dennis Hastert. Ms. Kahn earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. While attending school, Ms. Kahn was a member of two juvenile conference committees in Sussex County, where she assisted in recommending sentences for juvenile offenders. Following her graduation from college, Ms. Kahn joined the Peace Corps and served in Sierra Leone.
Subsequent to graduating law school in Florida, Ms. Kahn served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Catherine I. Enright, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey in the Family Part and Criminal Part, Morris Vicinage. Ms. Kahn started her clerkship in the Family Division where she had the opportunity to work one on one with Judge Enright on matrimonial matters and non-dissolution matters. In particular, Ms. Kahn worked on cases involving both pre- and post-divorce issues such as child custody, alimony, and equitable distribution. Ms. Kahn assisted the judge in research, drafting the written opinions for motions, and mediation of cases. Part way through her clerkship, Judge Enright and Ms. Kahn were transferred from the Family Division to the Criminal Division within the Morris Vicinage. While in the criminal part, Ms. Kahn assisted the judge in trial preparation, drafting opinions, and preparing sentencing memorandums.
After her judicial clerkship, Ms. Kahn has dedicated her career to helping families resolve issues related to matrimonial law. She is devoted to helping with family law matters including, but not limited to, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and enforcement and modification of various agreement or court ordered terms.
Ms. Kahn is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Family and Young Lawyers Divisions and also the Morris County Bar Association, Family Division.
